Stanley Park Horse Drawn Carriage Rides

With the most romantic day of the year just around the corner, many lovebirds are trying to find that extra special way to say “I Love You”.

Vancouver is a city thriving with romantic opportunities; with beautiful parks, sparkling oceans, work class restaurants and breath-taking views you are sure to find something to ignite romance.

Queen Elizabeth Park

Vancouver’s hidden gem, boasting some of the most beautiful (and free) public gardens in Canada. Explore the winding pathways to the sunken garden, marvel at beautiful public artworks and steal a sneaky smooch on the little footbridge over a winding stream framed by a cascading waterfall behind.

Stanley Park and the Seawall

Nothing says ‘romance’ like an old fashioned horse-drawn carriage ride. Departing from the Rose Garden at Stanley park, meander through the winding roadways under towering old-growth trees, beautiful garden and dramatic waterfront views surrounding the park.

If you are looking for a side of adventure to accompany your romantic outing, a ride around the Stanley Park Seawall is sure to get your heart pumping. In Coal Harbour you will find many bicycle rental shops offering both single and tandem bikes. From here, you can explore all the nooks and crannies that Vancouver’s most popular park has to offer at your own pace.

Cypress LookOut

Only a 20 minute drive from O Canada House, take in the breathtaking views of Vancouver, including Stanley Park. During the summer, the mountain offers many excellent hikes from easy to advanced. During the snowy winter months you can ski, snowboard or snuggle up and go snow tubing.
